These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Biophoria website and the purchase of products available through our store. By visiting the website or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Biophoria

Biophoria provides independently created educational resources designed to support students studying IGCSE Biology.

Biophoria is an independent educational brand and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Cambridge University Press & Assessment or Cambridge International Education.

2. Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a purchase agreement. If you are under the legal age of majority in your country, you must use the website and make purchases with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Digital Products and Delivery

All products sold by Biophoria are digital products. No physical copies will be produced, packaged, shipped, or delivered.

Following successful payment, access to the purchased product will be provided through a direct download link. Customers are responsible for supplying a correct and accessible email address during checkout.

If you do not receive or cannot access your download, contact noor.emohamed95@gmail.com with your name and order number.

4. Personal-Use Licence

Purchasing a digital product grants the purchaser a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to download and use the material for their own private study.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership or copyright to the customer.

Unless written permission is provided by Biophoria, customers must not:

  • Share files or download links with another person

  • Upload products to websites, cloud drives, groups or social platforms

  • Reproduce or distribute the materials

  • Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the materials

  • Use the materials to create competing products

  • Remove copyright notices, branding or watermarks

  • Modify and present any part of the materials as their own work

  • Use a personal purchase for classroom, institutional or group distribution

Unauthorised access, copying, sharing, resale or distribution may result in suspension of access and appropriate legal action.

5. Educational Disclaimer

Biophoria’s products are supplementary educational resources. Although reasonable care is taken when preparing them, they are not official examination-board publications and should not replace the current official syllabus, teacher guidance or examination-board announcements.

Purchasing or using our products does not guarantee a particular examination mark, grade or academic result. Student performance depends on several factors beyond the use of any individual resource.

6. Intellectual Property

Biophoria’s original explanations, notes, illustrations, designs, formatting, branding, videos and other original content remain the intellectual property of Biophoria and its respective creator.

Any third-party names, trademarks or materials remain the property of their respective owners. References to a qualification or syllabus are used only to describe the educational subject for which a resource is intended and do not imply endorsement.

7. Product Information

We aim to describe our products clearly and accurately. Product previews are provided to help customers understand the nature and format of each resource before purchasing.

We may correct errors, update content or make minor improvements to products when necessary. Unless expressly stated in the product description, a purchase does not guarantee permanent access to every future edition or update.

8. Orders, Prices and Payments

Prices are displayed at checkout in the available currency. Applicable taxes or payment-processing charges may be added where required.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is evidence of fraud, unauthorised payment, pricing error, misuse of the website or violation of these Terms. If a paid order is cancelled by us, any amount due will be handled according to the applicable payment and refund rules.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our published Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights applicable to the customer.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict a customer’s rights where those rights cannot legally be excluded.

Customers are responsible for protecting their order information, account credentials and download links. You must notify us promptly if you believe your purchase or download link has been accessed or distributed without permission.

We may limit or deactivate access where a download link is being misused or shared in violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

Our store may use third-party platforms and providers for hosting, payments and digital delivery. Your use of those services may also be governed by the respective provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Biophoria is not responsible for temporary interruptions caused solely by an external service provider, but we will provide reasonable assistance when a valid customer cannot access a purchase.

Personal information submitted through the store is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you acknowledge that the information necessary to process your order may be handled by Shopify, payment providers and digital-delivery services.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Biophoria will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from misuse of the products, unauthorised sharing, device incompatibility or circumstances reasonably beyond our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict access to the website or purchased materials when a customer violates these Terms, attempts fraudulent activity or misuses Biophoria’s intellectual property or download system.

Termination does not grant permission to retain, distribute or continue using materials in a manner that violates these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the customer’s country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on this page with its effective date.
